In 1983, the neighboring Gorgot House was add to the main building of the Theatre-Museum. The tower that was part of it was nam Galatea and later became the last abode of the famous artist, who was buri here on January 25, 1989. After Dali’s death, the Gala-Salvador Dali Foundation bought the building adjacent to the Galatea Tower and convert it into a museum hall. Since 2001, the magnificent jewelry collection that Dali creat for Owen Cheatham has been exhibit here.
