Let’s summarize
Distribution isn’t the most fun part of content marketing (especially if you’re also more into content design or production, and the “promotion” part bores you to tears).
But that doesn’t change the fact that distribution is essential . What’s the point of going to the trouble of producing quality content if it’s never going to be read by its intended audience?
Only solution:
1/ Take the time to understand your the functioning of information processing audience, their consumption patterns and the channels that are most likely to bring them your content.
- Survey current customers;
- Interview potential customers.
2/ Free up resources to build your device.
- Understand the prerequisites of the channels considered;
- Invest the resources to build your device.
3/ Continuously experiment with new tactics.
- Examine competitors, colleagues and inspirations;
- Regularly test new approaches;
- Adopt and scale techniques that deliver results.
