This also applies to the TechSnacks podcasts by Raymon Mens and Maarten van Woerkom. They have also only been on the air since January 2015 and are therefore also the New-kids-on-the-block. Techsnacks is a weekly talk show in which four subjects are discussed in forty minutes. an operating manual This podcast is similar to Tech45 in terms of subject choice, but has a slightly higher tempo and more structure in form. Both presenters Maarten and Remon alternate well, but the conversation sometimes has a somewhat student-like character. In any case, Techsnacks is a good concept. If not every subject appeals to you, a few minutes later it will be about another subject. In this podcast, just like with Tech45, a lot of Apple, but also Pebble, Google, Fitbit and apps.
Up-to-date in no time with NuTech
Last but certainly not least is the podcast of NuTech . We know NuTech as the technology section of Nu.nl, but since October 2014 it can also be listened to as a podcast. Colin van Hoek and his colleagues take you along in the weekly internet and tech news. What they tell in their podcast is a selection of what you read from the articles that were posted on NuTech the week before. But make no mistake: that certainly does not make it less valuable. I actually like to be updated in a podcast on current affairs related to the field.
After listening to this podcast, you will be completely up to date with the latest news about tech, social media, mobile and related matters. The downside of this coin is that there is less time to dwell on a subject in more detail. And if a subject is not in the news, it will not be on the agenda here. But hey, there are other podcasts for that.
Still…what’s missing
I can highly recommend the above podcasts. But what I still miss in this whole spectrum of Dutch podcasts, is a singapore lead podcast that focuses more extensively on important digital trends, such as Bitcoin blockchain, Internet-of-things, artificial intelligence, smart city, smart industries, exponential organizations, are your links both clear and descriptive? the influence of robotization on the labor market, etc. But maybe I didn’t search well and if it does exist, please let me know! And who knows, I might even make it myself. Who knows.
